Jhin, Talon, Diana, and Twisted Fate get the Blood Moon treatment and it's cool AF
Riot just unveiled a teaser for a Blood Moon-themed map and skin sets yesterday and it was creepy yet unsurprisingly beautiful at the same time. In the teaser, we only saw the champion skins for a short period of time, but now, they have been revealed! Huzzah!
And, of course, like any other League player, I went to SkinSpotlight's YouTube channel to check out the skins in their full glory.
I always envisioned that Jhin will receive a Blood Moon treatment, and Riot did not disappoint. This skin truly embodied Jhin's artistic side, complete with a bunch of brushes dipped in red dye as a replacement for his right shoulder's cartridge, bloody ink splatter VFX, an awesome SFX for his Curtain Call ability, and an elegant recall.
Now, Diana has every right to get a Blood Moon skin, for she won't be called Scorn of the Moon for nothing. First things first - her splash art looks so majestic. Right now, only hers and Twisted Fate's splash arts are present, but I know Jhin's and Talon's would be pretty badass as well.
Her blood red-colored blade looks so prominent here, unlike her standard look. And, the kabuki mask and the eerie echoing SFX just adds up to how terrifying she is in the hands of an experienced player.
Now, Talon's skin has a full supply of blood, and maybe rose petals. His crimson-colored blades looks so snazzy every time he casts his abilities. But honestly, the eye candy for me here are his recall and his blood red cape made of braids. Who knows what they're made of...hair of salty junglers and tops, perhaps?
Last but not the least, Twisted Fate's skin, which made him look like Reaper from Overwatch and Amon from Avatar: The Legend of Korra, no offense.
It actually made him look more terrifying, specially once he activates his ability Destiny, which spawns a moving vein-y eye above your champ's head.
What I admire in this skin is his recall animation. I think it's the best among the four skins. In an opponent's perspective, however, I think this skin made his abilities more predictable because of how vivid the colors are. With this skin, it's easier to dodge his Pick A Card ability, specially his Yellow Card which'll stun you.
My guess is that these skins would cost 1350RP in NA and 500RP here in Asia, unless, of course, Riot changes them. Nonetheless, these high-quality skins are worth the price and would definitely help you fill your self-confidence in-game. Are you excited for these skins? What do you think?
